Good enough care just be careful when you go in for an urgent care service. Hours are horrible because "they don't want to compete with their clinics." Then you have to pay emergency prices. If possible go to a real urgent care because you're most likely you don't have an appointment, hence urgent care.
Wow. Didn't know a gallbladder could cause such pain. So grateful to have super ER staff, awesome CRNAs and experienced surgeons here to help us. (Proud to work here, too.)
This is a great facility with great staff, care and service. I wish I knew the urgent care bill was going to be so high though.
Update: 11/21/2017
Utter Joke. Will not seek medical attention here nor will I ever allow my son be subjected to the medical treatment and 'education' here. Quick to charge money but fail to find results. Had major issues due to the lack of medical education from this establishment. "Records and data lost" when being transferred to another hospital yet being charged for the information they failed to provide to make my transfer easier. Had to sit in the Madison Er for hours because upland hill apparently didn't send word of my arrival. Go to Madison if you want great medical attention. Honestly you're better off. It took them 11 days and countless of people and x-rays to even determine if my sister's wrist was broken. Complete joke of a hospital.
Completely misdiagnosed my Dad when I had to take him in one night, they said he had COPD and that's what was 'causing his breathing problems/coughing fits. He ended up going to the Clinic in Mt. Horeb a few days later where they said he just had pneumonia in both lungs, which the UW Hospital in Madison confirmed when he was sent there via ambulance. Also the Doctor misdiagnosed my Mom when I took her in after she fell down the stairs tripping over our baby gate, he said that she just strained her wrist and gave her the wrong kind of splint for what was really wrong with her (it was broke) which led to it getting much worse. Plus he was in such a hurry to get out of the room that he completely missed the giant cut she had on the inside of her throat from the dog clippers that got jammed in there when she fell. Which was about a 1/2 inch to an inch away from her artery which could have been fatal, and she was even complaining of problems swallowing and discomfort in general. It wasn't until that I persisted that he look in there that they made that particular discovery, and that's not even the worse part. While we were waiting to hear back from a specialist because he didn't know how to go about treating it, all the nurses sitting outside at the nurse station or whatever you want to call it, they kept coming in and asking to see the inside of her throat and kept gaspi g and saying how terrible it looked and that they had never seen anything like it before. Now granted it was unique, but it still seemed very unprofessional for them all to be coming in and doing that which led to her being more scared than she really needed to be. All in all I used to really like coming to this place for my Emergencies, but after those last two visits I'm a bit put off by the place..
I did have to go in because of a bad asthma flare up the other night and they were all helpful and gave me the meds/breathing treatment I needed which I am incredibly grateful for. After that night and how I was treated my opinion has edged more towards really liking the place again. I don't remember the Nurses and Doctors names that helped me but they were amazing, so thank you!!
