One person handling all concession and ticket sales for nearly 100 people ...understaffed. Fair prices however surcharge for those using a credit card for purchasing movie tickets.
I love this theater. It's not a huge screen, but it has an old atmosphere to it. from the original neon marquee out front to the lighting inside. But that doesn't mean that the picture and sound are old. The video is very clean and the sound really fills the room well. The staff is very friendly. Parking can sometimes be difficult to find as the theater is right across the street from one of the best restaurants in town. Dinner and a movie are super easy!.
It is what it is...a small 1 screen theater. But what keeps me coming back is the great service!
I LOVE this theater!!! It's a charming small-town theater like the theater I spent my childhood summers in. It shows first run movies as soon as they are released, including 3D! They still show cartoons before the main show. Prices are good for both movie tickets and concessions!! It's my favorite place to go see a movie!!:-D
We love the Dogeville theater as it is family run, plays great new movies, has super popcorn, is well heated and cooled and has clean bathrooms! Also movies are inexpensive sometimes too.
